The \u201cPhase I\u201d of the improvements of Morina BCP has started under IPA 2009<br \/>\nProgramme. This was finalised with the construction of a bigger parking area for heavy vehicles.<br \/>\n\u201cPhase II\u201d of the construction works of Morina Border Crossing was covered under IPA 2012 Programme.<\/p>\n<p>The main works financed from EU funds are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The new \u201cFacilities block\u201d (Old Administration building)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The new \u201cAdministration building\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The re-designed \u201cForwarders block\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Completely rehabilitated and widened canopy area (12 Lanes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional works were part of the design study, on which the EU contract is based, but are carried<br \/>\nout by the beneficiary.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0The new Inspection and VET building<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A new Bus terminal \u2013 Albania<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A new Bus terminal \u2013 Kosovo<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A new Incinerator plant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The current Customs Clearance building was constructed in the late 80\u2019s and was partially refurnished in 2002.
