Overall Objective

The project aims to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism sector through the economic valorisation of the cultural and natural heritage.

Summary of the Project

The project included local gastronomy into the overall tourism offer in the cross-border area.

Activities

• Standardisation of old recipes for utilisation in local hotels and restaurants (including capacity building for restaurants and hotels staff)
• Development of a guidebook on local cuisine
• Branding of local restaurants offering traditional dishes
• Development of gastronomy routes
• Development of a promotional video about the local cuisine

Expected Results

• Traditional local recipes included in the offer of the local tourism industry
• Thematic and gastronomy routes created
• Local gastronomy offer promoted and marketed
