Summary of the Project

The project is part of the Water Performance & Investment Infrastructure Programme, a large sector Investment and Performance Programme co-financed by the EU, KfW and Swiss Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). It will provide improved water supply and sewerage infrastructure to the population in the selected municipalities, as well as strengthen the management of the sector both at local and national levels.
The EU grant funding will blend the KfW loan and grant and the SECO grant, thus increasing EU leverage on the sector development.
