Overall Objective
Eradicate the rabies form the territory of Albania following the implementation of three rounds of rabies vaccination in accordance with the adopted standards.
Summary of the Project
The aerial vaccination of rabies started in 2014 and continued until 2018 having 10 rounds of vaccinations implemented. However, to complete the eradication of the diseases from the Western Balkans it is necessary that the vaccination process in Albania is continued for additional rounds. Therefore, a third vaccination campaign (2020-2021) shall be implemented.
